How it all began

“Distance means so little, when someone means so much.”

Kristen and Jimmy met around 12 years ago, on a drawing website called iScribble. It was a place where both of them pursued their passions in art, and socialized with others who shared the same interests. They both became part of a close group of online friends, who still talk to this day (and will be at the wedding!).

Although they were on opposite ends of the country — Kristen in New Jersey, and Jimmy in California — they grew close, and would text or video chat every single day, for hours. Finally, in November of 2014, Kristen flew with her Mom to San Francisco to meet Jimmy in person for the first time — and the rest is history.

first time we met

After over 2 years of a long distance relationship — painful airport goodbyes, talking on Skype until 4am, coordinating school and work breaks to visit each other — Jimmy moved to New Jersey. Being together unearthed new passions besides art, photography being one of them. He proposed on their 4 year anniversary at one of their favorite photography spots, Cheesequake State Park.

We are so looking forward to starting this new chapter together, and can’t wait to celebrate with all of our favorite people.

I can bear the distance but cannot imagine a life without you. For you I will go through the distance and the heartaches. You are my one and only.
